Today’s 97.5 Adoptable P.A.W.
(Pet at Humane Society of Washington County)
Her friends at the Humane Society of Washington County say “Nala has been waiting for her forever home since AUGUST! We absolutely love this chonky queen, and we know someone out there will love her enough to bring her home.”
After spending over 150 days in the shelter, sweet Nala was able to take a bit of a reprieve and relax in a foster home. Here’s what her foster shared about her:
“Nala is by far the most confident of all the fosters I’ve had. She just walked in and acted like this was her home right from the beginning. She’s so confident and yet a snuggly chunky monkey. But she doesn’t seem to realize that 60 lbs isn’t laptop sized 😆.
Her chin and chest have the silkiest fur I’ve ever felt. Nala is totally house-trained and has easily slept through the night in her own bed. She’s gone in the crate once or twice while I was nearby and went right in when I told her to. She loves to curl up and snore. Sweet Nala girl just wants anyone who will scratch her backend or gently rub her chest.”
Nala has been working diligently with our volunteer dog trainers on improving her leash-walking skills. She’s just always in such a hurry for something very important!
Nala thoroughly enjoyed her time at the foster home, and she’s now back at the shelter hoping the next home she goes to is the forever home she’s been dreaming of!
End Nala’s long wait! Come adopt her today or share her post to help her find the one! As a long term resident, Nala’s adoption fee is only $50 now through March 6th!
🐕: Nala has successfully lived with other dogs before. Bring yours in for a meet & greet!
